A
No marks under normal light. Original screen and battery, battery health 90% or above, every function tested and working. The top of the pricing band.
B
Hairline marks or light edge wear you have to look for. Battery typically 85 – 90%, screen intact, everything works. Around 92% of the Grade A value.
C
Clear scratches, scuffed edges, a worn battery or a replaced part. Fully functional, just cosmetically used. Around 80% of the Grade A value.
D
Cracked glass, dents, a failed camera or Face ID, or a heavily degraded battery. We still buy it — around 55% of the Grade A value, because we carry the repair cost.
Liquid-exposed devices sit outside the letters. Corrosion is invisible until a teardown, so those units are quoted at a holding rate and re-priced after diagnostics. You see the revised number before anything is decided.
